Welcome

Welcome to the Lake Stevens Water Ski and Wakeboard Club.  The Club is a non-profit organization in Lake Stevens, Washington.  It was started by some enthusiastic water skiers back in 1964 to promote community participation in the sport of water skiing.  Our parent organization, USA Water Ski Club, is a member of the Olympic Committee.

What is the purpose of the club?

Our goal is to maintain the long tradition of developing competitive water skiers and wakeboarders from the Lake Stevens area by providing the resources, opportunity and encouragement to develop individuals of any age who have a desire to water ski and wakeboard.  Most of all, the Club aims to provide healthy water-based fun for individuals and families - whether recreational or competitive , and help promote safe and fun water sports and boating on our lake.

What does the club do for the community?
The Club contributes greatly to the Lake Stevens Community in general in several ways, besides promoting family events and good citizenship.

The Club has been an important sponsor and participant in Aquafest since the 1970s.  We host the very popular annual open water ski and wakeboard tournament, using our slalom course in the Cove.  This draws competitors, from novice to National level, from all over the area and is a ton of fun for both competitors and spectators!  Our goal is to contribute financially to the City in order to enable them to continue to run Aquafest.

The Club decorates a float for the annual Aquafest Children's Parade and we are Executive Level Donors to Aquafest and the fireworks display.

The Club provides community service by regular organized clean-ups of the City Boat Launch area throughout the year and offering a $500 college scholarship to a graduating Lake Stevens senior annually.
